Join us this fall in Wimberley, Texas as we take a weekend to breathe!
We’ll take three days and two nights to connect with ourselves, each other and enjoy a little break from the everyday.
Come practice yoga, read a good book, explore a pioneer town and enjoy the activities that we have planned. We’ll announce each one as we get closer to the retreat date. Including a trip to learn mindfulness from the horses at Horse + Bow in Marble Falls!
As part of 7A Ranch, each unit includes access to our newly reconstructed swimming pool including half mile of beautiful Blanco River frontage. Please note, access to the Blanco River requires guests to cross the single lane River Road.
To compliment your stay, rent a kayak from the front office to enjoy the majestic waters of the Blanco river. In addition to our awesome water features, we also have a reconstructed old west town with an operating Ice Cream Parlor, vintage arcade, and ghost town!
As part of your retreat purchase, you will also be able to join us on a trip to Marble Falls to visit Horse + Bow to learn about mindfulness from their horses. They have curated a special workshop just for our retreat!
Horses can teach us mindfulness through equine-assisted therapy and activities. Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment and being aware of your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Horses are highly sensitive and intuitive animals, and when we interact with them, they can provide valuable lessons in mindfulness in several ways.
We can’t wait to learn from our equine friends and head back to our lives fully refreshed.
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Check-in and Welcome Reception Arrive at the retreat location and settle into your accommodations. Meet and greet with fellow participants. Refreshments and light snacks will be available.
- 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Opening Dinner Enjoy a delicious and nutritious dinner to kick off the retreat. Welcome remarks and introductions.
- 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Restorative Yoga Wind down the evening with a gentle yoga session focused on relaxation and mindfulness.
- 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Sunrise Yoga Wake up early to practice yoga as the sun rises. Energizing yoga session to invigorate your body and mind.
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast Enjoy a healthy breakfast to fuel your day ahead.
- 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Mindfulness + Breath Work Workshop Explore mindfulness techniques and breath work to deepen your practice. Interactive group exercises.
- 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Savor a nourishing lunch with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.
- 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Free Time Relax by the pool, take a nature walk, or sit on the porch. Personal reflection and journaling.
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Vinyasa Flow Yoga. A dynamic yoga session to enhance strength and flexibility.
- 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Dinner Delight in a gourmet dinner with a focus on healthy and flavorful cuisine.
- 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Guided Yoga Nidra Experience deep relaxation and inner peace with a guided yoga nidra session.
- 7:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Breathe + Flow Yoga A balanced and gentle yoga practice to start your day.
- 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Breakfast Enjoy your final breakfast of the retreat.
- 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Drive to Marble Falls.
- 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Horse + Bow Mindfulness Class Join the special expedition with “Horse + Bow” for a unique mindfulness experience. Learn from the wisdom of horses and connect with nature.
- 1:00 PM: Lunch out in Wimberley and Farewell Share your retreat experiences, insights, and gratitude with the group. Farewell remarks and well wishes.
